This is a review on earning extra pocket money with Ads Auction using Project Wonderful service. In short, Project Wonderful allows fair and transparent bidding of ads placement by advertisers on any blogger's site that he favor. Blogger meanwhile can profit from the bid by accept the ads price from the highest bidder.

Bloggers are in full control in accepting which ads to appear on his or site blog. Bloggers are however advised to check if the advertisers page is appropriate and acceptable to his or her site terms.

Successful bid will resulted in the advertiser's ads to be published on the blogger site for a day. I might be wrong but so far, the ads being published does not run for a maximum 24 hours. That mean if I approved the bid in the late afternoon, the advertiser would have lose 12 hours of ads display.

Wonderful advertising for advertisers

Project Wonderful facilitates readers or advertisers to bid on your advertising space, competing for the best deal. As soon as someone is the high bidder, their ad is shown. Anyone can become the high bidder at any time, and you can cancel any bid you don't like.

Advertising is sold on the basis of time instead of clicks, which eliminates click fraud entirely, and stops an estimated $800 million in fraud dead in its tracks. Instead of earning money for clicks on your ads, you earn money every second that an ad is active on your site. This system is called CPD (cost per day). Bidders say "I am willing to pay $1 a day for my ad on your site", and every second that they're the high bidder, you're accruing funds.

Your advertisers can trust that they won't be ripped off. More value for their advertising dollar means more customer satisfaction, and more profits for you.

Not so wonderful

Project Wonderful on the other hand is not so wonderful to small time blogger that is those blog with less than 200 hits per day. Blog with low traffic does not attract bidders, it's a simple fact. Project Wonderful does have potential but only if you are serious and willing to work to increase your traffic or readership.

In addition, Project Wonderful need to improve their administrative dashboard which is not that friendly and lacking control. One of the control that I'm whining about is their core function that is the ads bidding. In my profile, I have set a minimum bid of $0.05 per day yet I still receive bidding from advertisers amount to zero dollars ($0.00). Those $0.00 bid is actually wasting my time as I have to cancel them or let is clustered my inbox.

I for that matter, rather have my ads space empty then receiving a $0.00 bid. It either no ads at all or paid ads.
